Construction Update

It’s been quite a while since we gave any updates on the progress of our construction, hasn’t it? It seems like it’s about time we remedied that situation …

After the bricklayers completed the final arch in February, they began work on the flower planters. These brick-and-cinderblock boxes may not seem all that exciting now … but they are sure to be stunning when they’re filled with spring and summer blossoms. Work is also underway on the brick portions of the loggia.

Workmen have also been installing the sprinkler system all along the walkway ceiling. Once again, we have been amazed at the amount of detail and finesse that goes into such a seemingly small element of the project.

Last but certainly not least, our architects and general contractor have been working on a very important task: obtaining the footer release permit for the Holy Family Wing. After much paperwork and many meetings with municipal authorities, the permit is now ours, and the excavation and concrete work has begun!!

Please keep up your prayers for smooth progress as this new phase of the project moves ahead!
