Another Passionist Saint?

We were delighted to hear the news that the initial investigation into the sanctity of a Passionist Sister has recently been closed and her cause has been sent to Rome for the next stage of the process. Sr. Carmelina Tarantino was a member of the Sisters of Saint Paul of the Cross, an active congregation of religious women inspired by the spirituality of our Holy Founder. She suffered from mysterious ailments for much of her life, was a woman of deep prayer, and was the first Passionist Sister to make her profession in Toronto, Canada.
