A session of the 2015 Extraordinary General Assembly at Sts. John and Paul in Rome.
The newly formed Monastic Congregation of the Nuns of the Passion of Jesus Christ will be holding our first-ever General Chapter in Rome, January 21 through February 3. The superiors and additional delegates from the monasteries of the Congregation all over the world will gather at the Passionist Generalate of Sts. John and Paul for this important international meeting. They will elect the new Congregation’s leadership (Mother President and four Council members) and continue the process of building stronger bonds among our individual monasteries.
Please pray for all those who will be participating: superiors, delegates, representatives of the Holy See, our male Passionists, and the many translators, without whom this Chapter would be impossible! May all have safe travels, fruitful presentations and discussions, and come back from the Chapter strengthened in mutual charity and in our common Passionist Charism.
We are praying the Seven Dolor Rosary for these important intentions, and we encourage all who wish to join in this prayer campaign!
