Honoring Our Co-Foundress

Mother Mary Crucified of Jesus, C.P.

Today, November 16th, we commemorate the death of the first Passionist Nun and our Co-Foundress, Mother Mary Crucified. She was chosen by St. Paul of the Cross to lead the first monastery of our Congregation, founded in Corneto (now Tarquinia), Italy in 1771.

You can learn more about her life over on our Passionist Saints page!

Please join us and the Passionist Nuns worldwide in praying for the beatification and canonization of our first Mother!
