Web Wednesdays: All About the Blog
Nothing feels quite so self-referential as blogging about our blog...but that is exactly what today's installment of Web Wednesdays will be exploring!
Before we launched the new website, our blog was totally separate from the main site. Now, as you can see, it is part of the main site, which has let us integrate lots of blog content in really exciting ways. For example, at the end of each Vocation Story, you'll find a carousel of blog posts about the Sister's continuing adventure - professions, jubilees, interviews, etc.
Likewise, the Parents & Families page features links to blog posts which a young woman's loved ones might find helpful as they accompany her on the journey of discernment. As you view the site, you'll doubtless notice other place the blog is integrated; we think it is a wonderful way to share from the many years of reflections (and hilarity) which we have accumulated.
Finally, a comment about...well...comments. If you are a long-time blog follower, don't be dismayed if you leave a comment and it does not immediately show up. With the new platform, we have to moderate each comment individually, but we try to review things within a day or two, as soon as our busy schedule of work and prayer allows!
Today's Web Wednesday feature (the final one!) addresses just a few ways you can lend a helping hand even from a distance.
