Report from the Trenches
Most people would be upset to discover wheel ruts, deep holes, and debris in their yards … but this week, we are VERY happy to see just that, since it means that excavation has begun for our cloister walkways!!
The Cherish the Flame dream is finally becoming a reality …
The work crews have already finished digging a long series of trenches and partially filling them with gravel, in preparation for forming and pouring the concrete footers this week. They are moving at a good pace, making the pictures below already outdated! Please offer a prayer for the safety of our construction workers, as well as for good weather to allow for a continued speedy progress. Stay tuned for photos of the official groundbreaking ceremony that was held on Sept 10th!
