Renovation Transformation
Over the past few weeks, so much has happened in our refectory and kitchen renovation that it’s hard to know where to start with sharing news! This final phase of our Cherish the Flame project is slated to be complete near the end of April, and we’re seeing the transformation take place day by day. It’s not quite time for “before and after” photos, but enjoy some images of the progress!

Refectory, Serving Area, and Dishwasher Room
The kitchen renovation has been a particularly strange experience, since it required us to move the entirety of the kitchen contents elsewhere! Sister Kitchen Manager, along with her trusty nun-helpers and some fantastic lay volunteers, managed to pull off that feat just in time for demolition to begin on March 10th. The temporary “kitchen” is now sharing quarters with the cloth room, which makes for an interesting and slightly cramped experience … check out the pictures below to see what we mean!
