Lent 2025 Vocation Retreat

The month of March is special to us for many reasons. It’s dedicated to our monastery patron, St. Joseph (whose solemnity we celebrated yesterday!). Most or all of it is usually part of the Lenten season, which is our “time to shine” as Passionists. It’s the month when our hardy Kentucky spring flowers begin to bloom. And last but certainly not least, it’s the time for our spring vocation retreat!

Last weekend, we welcomed three young ladies, whose travels to get here spanned nearly the entire USA: Morgan (Louisiana), Shelagh (Minnesota), and Christine (California)! They were a delightful group, eager to learn more about the life and vocation of the Passionist Nuns by participating in our liturgy, prayer times, and discernment talks. We all greatly enjoyed the discussion and recreation periods together as well.

Please say a prayer for each of these women as they take the graces of the weekend home with them and pray for the Lord’s guidance in the next steps of their unique journeys!

Joseph, Joseph, he’s our man - if he can’t do it, nobody can!

Do you know a young woman who is open to discerning religious life? Invite her to check out our upcoming vocation retreats!
